Helsinki Port Terminal and Casino

Four separate terminals and concourses are currently arrayed across the entire edge of the Helsinki Harbor. The New Superterminal consolidates all four terminals into a single channel that forms the transition between Helsinki and the sea. The proposed Superterminal provides a connection between the concourse/cruise liners and all other programs of the terminal; the spaces and circulation, of which, are organized by a series of lines and long masses that thicken at a casino. The casino is located in an area where the directionalilty of these lines is negated by pathways that bridge between the masses/lines.
